Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Sun Shade Tourism, we understand that plans can change, and we strive to provide a flexible, guest-friendly cancellation and refund process — while ensuring fairness to both our travelers and our trusted partners.

This policy explains how cancellations, amendments, and refunds work when you book tours, activities, or packages through our platform.

1. General Cancellation Terms

Cancellations must be requested via:

All cancellation requests are processed during business hours. Refund eligibility depends on the specific experience booked, its supplier policies, and the notice period provided.

2. Flexible Cancellation Window

  • Free Cancellation → If canceled at least 48 hours before the start of the experience
  • Partial Refund → If canceled 24–48 hours before the start
  • No Refund → If canceled less than 24 hours before the start or in case of a no-show

Note: Some premium packages, seasonal tours, or partner-managed activities may have different cancellation timelines. These will always be clearly displayed before booking.

3. Amendments & Rescheduling

  • Requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled experience
  • We’ll do our best to accommodate changes at no extra cost, but this depends on availability and partner policies
  • If rescheduling isn’t possible, the standard cancellation rules apply

4. Company-Initiated Cancellations

  • Unfavorable weather conditions
  • Unforeseen operational issues
  • Local government restrictions or emergencies

In such cases, you’ll receive a full refund or an alternative experience of equal value — your choice.

5. Non-Refundable Services

  • Limited seat availability
  • Special seasonal events
  • Strict partner cancellation policies

These will be clearly indicated at the time of booking to avoid surprises.

6. Refund Processing

  • Processing Time: Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days
  • Payment Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during booking
  • Currency Fluctuations: Refund amounts may vary slightly due to foreign exchange rates or bank processing fees

7. No-Shows & Late Arrivals

If you fail to show up for a scheduled activity or arrive late without notifying us, no refund will be issued. However, if you inform us in advance, we’ll do our best to reschedule your experience, subject to partner approval.

8. Force Majeure Events

In circumstances beyond our control — including natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or government regulations — we’ll strive to:

  • Reschedule your experience where possible
  • Provide a credit voucher for future bookings

Full refunds may not always be possible due to third-party policies.
